The Department of English came into effect in Imayam during the year 2008 with a UG level course. We expanded our footprint with the introduction of a PG course in English.

The Department of English was established in the year 2008 with the course of under graduation. In 2012, the post-graduation course was established.

• We encourage the students to find their passion and develop them to lead a successful professional life through their graduate degree in English that helps them accentuate their career progress.
• We conduct extensive seminars, bridge course programs, and conferences to familiarize and expose the students to develop exceptional interpersonal skills.
• We also have an intradepartmental literary association wherein we give students the platform to showcase their skills through oral and written formats.

By holding a comprehensive take on the subject, we strive hard to bring out the best in students.

The Department oF English has a selective set of Faculty who hold an extensive understanding of the language and the literature surrounding it. They play an active role in helping students through consistent and positive guidance to make the most out of the opportunities presented to them.
