I did not have access to basic education. I dreamt of a world where every student is able to
achieve great heights through graduate and postgraduate studies. It is for this purpose I
founded the trust and institution. To realize your dreams and achieve the best, I ask the
young students of our nation to be disciplined not only during education in all walks of
life so they excel everywhere and achieve their purpose. Remember, motivation keeps you
going, but discipline keeps you growing! My best wishes to every student to scale greatness.

Mr. P Periyannan started with humble beginnings as a daily wager in Chennai. Coming from a
farming background, he completed his basic schooling. However, nothing deterred his vision
to be a leader. He started running a reputed transport company as early as 1978 and ushered
into management and leadership. He is a classic example of success through sheer hard work
and perseverance. He established the Imayam trust in 2004 and in 2005 started 8 different
Educational Institutions. Since 2005 he is the Founding member and Chairman of the
Institution.
Besides his scholastic achievements he has been an active member of the Rotary club for over
8 years rendering unstinted service to the society. With his vision to provide every student
quality education he has successfully seen over 10000 students graduate in multiple streams.
